DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE - Matthew 14:25–33 (NIV) When Jesus said, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be terrified." Peter was still in the boat. Then Peter asked Jesus to COMMAND him to do the impossible...walk on water... and HE DID! Truthfully, Peter only started sinking because he became distracted by the wind and the waves around him. His faith waned because he lost sight of the One who empowered him for the impossible. Do not fear the impossible. In fact, ASK JESUS to command you to do the impossible (hint, he already has - see Matt 10:8) The wind will shriek. The waves will thrash. Our experience does not define what is possible - Jesus does.
